DESCRIPTION:
Clocks- 2 (Two) wood 8 day time and strike mantel clocks, Atkins and Welch, later 19th century
CONDITION:
mahogany beehive retains its blue E.N.Welch paper label, glasses are old but lower colorful one may not be original, dial paint looks newer, rubbed case has some small veneer losses, glass prob. original, but missing black asphaltum backing, Ht 19". Atkins "London", with refinished rosewood, has old glasses and repainted gold columns, incorrect S/T hands, and repainted dial center, Ht 17". Both movements could use cleaning and c1860.
